Overview: Samsung SCH-R800 looks quite similar to Samsung Soul U900 slider phone, though it highly differs in function.

It’s curved edges and brushed metal look is borrowed from its predecessor but it does away with Samsung’s Magical Touch. Instead now this phone is endowed with a special set of keys. Samsung SCH-R800 has a lot of enhanced features just like the camera. The handset looks gorgeous and sleek that makes it very comfortable to use and carry.

The Samsung SCH-R800 phone weighs 92 g and gives quite a firmer hold. It is encased in metal and has rounded edges

alongside a glowing keypad. Undoubtedly the look is pretty fashionable and trendy. Operation wise this phone is very handy and does not confuse the users with its complexities. The D-pad, control keys and soft keys have been designed well for hassle free use.

Features installed in the Samsung U800:

· Music player

· Video calling

· Camera

· FM radio

· 1GB inbuilt memory(memory card optional)

· Bluetooth connectivity

Music: With an inbuilt memory of 1 GB, there is reasonable space for tunes and music. MicroSD memory cards with 8GB storage make it convenient as a MP3 player. It can play music in various formats like AAC, WMA or AAC+. 1GB inbuilt memory has room for almost 250 MP3 tracks. As mentioned, it can be increased and even more tracks can be easily stored in it.

Surfing: Samsung U800 has an onboard high-speed HSDPA 3G facility that enables the user to download data up to 3.6 Mbps. This highly supports fast downloading, playing of audio and video content. You can email from the phone and also view a document. Not just that Java games have also been incorporated. Via Bluetooth and USB the phone can be connected.

Camera: Samsung SCH-R800 has a 3 megapixel camera that is enabled with LED flash and digital zoom. This feature heightens the efficiency of the camera and hence of the phone. The screen has a high resolution and has 16 million colors. The front camera makes video calls easy. The camera at the back can also be used for the same. As a mid range phone these characteristics make it a very good choice for the buyers.

Samsung SCH-R800 is available in pink as well as silver colors. It has close resemblance to Nokia 6500 Classic but in terms of functions this phone undoubtedly is the winner. Even the features of Nokia and Samsung appear to be quite similar but Samsung has an upper hand. As a mid range phone this phone is very efficient from every respect. Even the camera is good though it is not like the usual high-end camera. The camera lacks autofocus and other mechanisms but still it still remains the best for this mid range phone. This phone has a regular battery life that is not that extraordinary. This ultra slim phone wins hands down for its sleek smooth look and easily operative system. Samsung SCH-R800 can definitely beat any mid range phone for these obvious advantages.
